Hiya KitZune, Laurelin, guys.... I've all seen you in chat, and you know my crazy shifter habit, but my can has fallen apart before me. They've been officially disbanded and the ex-members have been abducted into another clan... TMC. I don't really wanna join TMC, as Tribes 2 is what it's all about these days. I guess I should just give up shifter and come play Tribes 2 with you guys. Forking over 60$ isn't soo bad when you consider the hours and hours of gameplay... Thrown out and left without a clan, I humbly plea for refuge in your well-turreted halls.

*sigh* Well, it seems more than just my clan has fallen apart. My brother's Build-A-Computer fund has also been called off. (Much to the relief of my bank account.

) So, now I have 100$ that is floating around with nothing to do... hmmm..... can you guys think on something I could do with a spare 100$, a GeForce 2, and a friend that works at Future Shop? There's something naggin in the back of my brain.... I just can't figure it out...

Ok, I gots the application letter in forn of me, it says to list off a few thingys. First off, playing style.

Style:
Well, I'm a shifter fan at heart, so I see clearly designated jobs in everything. I *used* to either be a sneaky assasin guy who'd sneak to the base and then change into heavy and blow stuff up. I also liked being of defence, as those foolish lights and their shield packs fell easily before my rockets. Lastly, my friend Steph has taught me alot about the necessity of repairing a base, even if you don't get any points or thanks. "A well repaired base is a happy base."

Good At:
Targetting Laser + Mortar combo
Any Defence (esp. Flag Defence)
Repairing Stuff (and not getting sniped while doin it)
Deploying Stuff (a much needed skill in shifter)
Sniping (esp. turrets)
Piloting (oohh!!! I love those new APC's!!!!)
Using the Cloaking Pack (shifter fun! hee heee!)

Bad At:
Shooting anything that moves
Shooting anything that flies
Shooting anything far away
Capping (esp. base caps, I only know the shifter way)

Servers:
Well, since I haven't played T2 online yet (getting it to-night!!!) and I only played shifter in Tribes 1, my favorite servers are anything from HomeLAN. They police the trash off their servers and they have a stringent code-of-conduct. I love HomeLAN, but they seem to be a bit deficient in the T2 department...

Equipment:
AMD K7 700 mhz & NVidia GeForce 2
DSL Line (lag-o-riffic! = not much lag, on good days...)

Software:
Tribes 1 - Unmodified (i.e. no presto pack, scripts, etc.)
(Tribes 2 - I will have this by 10:00 tonight, I already have it installed and configured, I just need a CD and a key. I know what you're thinking: No, I didn't try to steal it or burn it, I installed it from my friend's CD so we could play a LAN game, but he withheld the CD-key from me.)

Free Time:
I'm free on Monday and Wed before 7:00 EST (that's GMT -5:00)
Free on Thursday and Friday *usually* all night
Free from around 12 to 6 on saturday, same with sunday
I'd like to be Signed up for Tribes 2 and Tribes 1 (if u need me, i will play T1 again

)
