WOW, out of 200,000 registered users, I am 1948 and in Dueling I am 74? How does this thing keep track of us?

Not sure exactly how it keeps track, I think it might be by total online play time. BOOZER, the T2 CTF #1, has 26 days total online play time.

My rank is very very low and doesn't even closely resemble what it should be. I think I should be in the top 100.

Our ranking system works in an novel and we think effective way. The rules are simple: if in any 3 minute period you beat someone above you in the ladder they move down the ladder and you move up. In addition, people who don't play for a week start moving down the table - we call it gravity. The effect of all this is that when you enter the ladder you will start at quite a low position unrepresentative of your ability. However as you play more you will move up the ladder very quickly as the inactive players fall past you in large numbers. The result is that you will rise to a level amongst the active players where if you are better than them you will progress further up the table as you beat them. This is a long term ladder where long term ability is rewarded rather than the ability to put together a concentrated winning streak. So we use graphs as much as we can to show your progress over time and hopefully your progress in to the top 100 position that you deserve.
