This is for everyone out there... I'm sure a lot of you are aware of this software, or have similar programs, but since I just discovered it today (and instantly found that my system ran smoother), I felt like passing the info along.

There is a program called Ad-Aware from a company called Lavasoft. It has received 98% approval from C.NET users, I think 5 cows from tucows, and 5 stars from PC magazine. The program searches through your registry and hardrives for spyware programs. Most of the programs are fairly obvious, but because of the thorough nature of the program, it gets rid of all the registry keys, etc, that wouldn't be removed if you were to delete the file, or run the

*uninstaller*. you can download it for free from www.lavasoftusa.com/ , and can read reviews, comments, etc.

It is really worth having. I have it run everytime my comp boots up, just in case there are any cookies left, or anything.

Again, it is free... It is also trustworthy, which is a difficult thing to be on the net.

Yeah it is good, I use it all the time. It does a thorough job at removing spyware.
