just powercycle, you should be fine, and rebooting also helps

Powercycling doesnt help, rebooting doesnt help, sometimes the line even loses sync.

What about signing up for a month of free service from 12 different providers?

Worked for me when I lived at my parent's house for a summer. (Until lightning hit the house and messed up my connection during a T1 match.
