Heya Blaylok thanks for stoppin by. For the sigs I just use Paint Shop Pro, use lots of layers, that way you can still make adjustments later, and don't be afraid just to toss stuff into your banner, if it doesn't look good back up. I use to always try and think of how I wanted them to look before hand, now I just throw things together and see what happens.

Well thank you for the warm welcome. As for the banners, could I use Adobe Photoshop?

Yeah, you can use Photoshop with the same techniques. Photoshop is probably the most used editor for graphics people, PSP is #2. However, I never really liked Photoshop, it was hard for me to use as it has so many options and tools. I started out using PSP so I know it really well.
BTW, every few months I find myself repeating Great Wyrms of Sorrow over and over in my head, in the car, in the shower... 'cause it sounds so weird, I picture giant sad worms. Last edited by Ghryphen; 06-25-2002 at 08:59 AM. |

If you want to change the bground of a graphic it is easier if the bground is mostly one color, there should be a magic wand tool that will select like colors, just select the background and then invert your selection, now everything but the bground is selected and you can copy and paste it to your banner.
Hope that helps. |

You know i think the Photoeditor that you start useing first is the easyest for you to get... I started with PhotoShop5.0 as my first Editor that i "REALLY" learned and when i tryed Paint shop... it was WIERD and it didnt make sence. But yeah PhotoShop is a GREAT program.... cant wait till i get 7.0

Thanks, Gryphon. That's what I have Dax, Photoshop 7.0. It's a great program so far, but I am still learning.
