Damnit!

This last weekend sucked really bad.

Here's the deal:

I felt kind of sick on Thursday...running nose, sore throat.
I slept, and felt better.
Friday night I went out with the girlfriend, and felt sick again...I wanted to barf. Still the evening was good.
I slept like a baby, and felt good again on Saturday.
Saturday, I went over to Cari's house and stayed there till about midnight.
At the end of a bland evening, Cari and I had a little talk.
We broke off our relationship. Even though we get along tremendously well, our personalities compliment each other better than anyone that I have ever met, she said that her romantic interest was not steady. It was strong when it was there, but it wasn't consistent. I felt the same way, but thought it was because she wanted to take things slow (I didn't want to rush into anything either.)
In the end, we're no longer in that kind of relationship. She wants to be friends, but I am wary of that...and probably will be for a while. (If I ever become her friend.)

THEN, after that, I was sad angry. My immune system was kind enough to respond by letting my sickness get worse. It's a cold or flu or something.


Needless to say, I felt like crap. Mentally, physically and emotionally.

I look back, and I think I see what happened. It's my fault, that the sparks died, because I let them. (Coupled with the fact that I didn't always see them when they were there.... it sucks.)
I don't blame myself though, I knew that putting a relationship with school on my mind could really suck.

I don't know, I'm still not organized right now. I've just typed things out as they came into my head...

That bites, and I'm sorry to hear it. I hope you are at least feeling better physically by now so you can have more energy to deal with the rest. Grrr, and I was hoping it would work out well.

Well, I have been doing things with the same girl. Friend stuff. I took the attitude: "If she calls, then cool; have fun." So that's what I did. Well, we got together on Saturday night. The night was interesting...she tried to find all the ticklish spots that I have (pretty cool), and the end of the night was interesting.

I went to give her a friendly hug. She was hugging me hard, then she stopped, and I started to back away. All of a sudden she is bringing me closer to her, and she started kissing me. I'm like what the hell? for about 2 or 3 seconds. After that moment passed, I was playing it cool. Until the...ahh...tongue action started happening (she initiated it). Then I was like holy $#%^!!!!, and was surprised again. It was kind of strange how the evening went from a friendly get-together to something a bit more fun.

Oh well. Just had to get that out.

Interesting how your Saturday night turned out. So does this mean your back with eachother or is this going to be a get together booty call thingy? Cuz one you say you guys are over then BAM lets kick it up a notch your back BAM . Talk about keepin things interesting .

Over all I hope things work out for you. I too was rootin for you 2.

Nothing like a breakup and the flu to help you re-assess life... as I view it, nothing will feel as bad until you encounter something worse in your life. You've just been made a stronger and smarter man.
