Priston Tale, free Online RPG?

I just saw a few posts about this on another forums. Anone look at this game? I am downloading it, I will check it out. Though it isn't my style of game it appears to be free.

Looks like a KitZ/Laur style game

Don't anybody start downloading it yet. It may be a waste of time. I got it installed, but it says a version.cfg file is missing and all the start shortcuts do not work and there are reports of this on their forums. I'll let you know when I have succesfully launched the game.

It "Might" be in beta right now, that may be why. The site is really criptic, there is not a lot of information about who they are and what they plan to do.

Finally got it working. There is a little patch to install after the main one. The server is a little buggy, seems to be up and down. The game is really neat though. I still have not found out if it is free forever or only for the next two months, there are only speculations on the forums with no official word from the developers.

If you feel like downloading it, I'm on the "beta" server name "THZGryphon".

Ive been playing the game for a couple weeks now, and its alot better then it looks on the site. But i was looking through the blocked users list, and noticed THZGryphon was on it. They are having problems with there "game file checker" program or something, and sometimes it just randomly blocks people. What you have to do is post on the message board frequently, and send emails to admins to let them know you were blocked without warning and for no reason, and they will unblock you, just like what happened to Sidewinder. I play Alpha and Gamma servers, and am a lvl 39 fighter named Velislide. If you dont know how to PM people in game, just type it like this

/:Velislide "hi" or "sup" or what ever you want to say

Or you can type /:Velislide
to see if im online or not

The site makes the game look retarded I think, but I like the game, and it IS in beta right now, but it wont be going Pay2Play for quite some time. The servers are having wierd lag bugs, but thats the only problem ive been having so far.

Thanks for the info V. I emailed them and told them that I had been blocked. I have only been able to play for about 10 minutes at a time before I lose the connection. And then I can't log back in again for a couple hours. And then again, I only get to play for 10 minutes before losing the connection again. I don't know if this gave the appearance of hacking or something that got me blocked.

I mentioned to them that I work for GameSpy and that I would have to recommend that the RPG sites take their over zealous blockings into consideration in their reviews.

Now they have added that damn nprotect to their website that I have to keep declining.

I stay away from the boards, I don't want to post a lot on there, they are slow and annoying and your post moves to fast off the front page. I will email them one more time and then I'm giving up until a later time when more bugs are fixed.

Thats the same problem SW was having, we dont know if the d/c is fixed, but he got blocked after awhile too. Its strange, i dont have that problem, and not many people do. It takes them probably at least a week to unblock someone, and when you do get unblocked, email them your problem if it keeps happening. The D/C's.
