FREAKY looking clouds...
Well, I saw these bad-boys this morning while I was heading out to my car, and just HAD to snap a few pics. Thank goodness I had my camera with me, cause they melted away not two minutes after these shots were taken.

All of these fellows were extremely low-flying clouds, and they looked like someone had smoothed them out like good thick whipped cream or something. We do not get clouds like this very often around here--usually our clouds are much lumpier, and anything different tends to signal the onset of extremely nasty weather or a tornado or microburst... so you can imagine I was a little tense when I saw these.

We get those a good bit around here. I wouldn't say they were common, though, and they still make the meterologist in me go "Woah, cool!"
I'm gonna get some pics of funky Texas clouds up here sooner or later...

Wow Ambush Bug your computer musn't be very good, you must need a new video card or something because the terrain and clouds are being rounded out and simplified at long distances... With my computer I can see clouds clearly right up until the FOW
Geez, you just aren't l33t enough
