Ice helps with the swelling. You should have done it to your middle finger so you can get one of those braces that keeps it up and flick everyone off.

Those are fun.
Your nail hasn't separated from your finger has it? Don't pull on it, you don't want it to fall off. Often, if the nail separates, you won't grow it back. Ice it and see a doctor if the nail looks funny. And next time don't stick your fingers in places like that (car doors, between weights, etc). |

the other day at work, one of the guys that i work with dropped a piece of aluminum on his big toe. now i know what you are thinking, aluminum isnt that heavy. all that i have to say about that is that it is heavy when it is 6 feet long, 3 inches thick, and 3 inches wide. in the time it took him to fall to the ground and rip off his shoe and sock his nail was blacker than most of my clothes.

super! <3 gryph... As for injuries, I think the funnest was shattering my wrist (was deliberately tripped playing basketball). They had to apply local anaesthetics first (with a big ass needle directly into my wrist... super fun) and spent 5 minutes cracking all my bones back into the places they should be. I remember screaming not because it hurt (I had already spent lots of time in pain), but because I could *feel* the bones moving a lot... and the sound.... my god.

i think Laur wins... the worst thing i've done was separated my ankle at karate class. we were doing a force control exercise involving a run, jump, and flying side-kick in the air, with the object being to not kick your partner (the control bit is in knowing when to jump, release the kick, and land properly in a fighting stance). so i run, jump, and while i'm in the air he steps forward, so when i try to fall short, i tried to land on the side of my foot with 200+ lbs of THZ*Raiyven. all i got out of it was a really, really loud SNAP and tylenol 3's xD
