[T1] Please help me...having trouble with patches.

Umm, hello. I was wondering how I instal the patch from 1.8 to 1.11. I downloaded the .EXE file, and whenever I click it, nothing happens. It just makes a little beep sign on my computer...the kind you get when you get an error. Can anyone help.

I am not sure what that could be. What operating system? Windows XP? Maybe right click the .exe and choose the combatibility tab and and check the box to run it in Win98 or something.

Well...I get a message that says this:

A temporarty file needed for initialization could not be created of could not be written to. Make sure that the directory path exists, and disk space is available.

I have heard of that error before, but I am not sure what the fix was. Try these forums, they have a good group of troubleshooters, or see if they have answered your problem before.

i don't think you are aloud to do that It is best to leave it how it was
