Please tell me if I'm breaking any FCC laws or 1000 year old Tribes traditions but, Is it possilble to be a member of more than one tribe/clan? Like, what if I played base wit you guys, and shifter with a different tribe. Would that work.
PS: I know about stuff like DTM, It's not what I'm getting at. I'm thinking of a more double-agent -whoops-! Did I just say that out loud? I mean dual citizenship or something of that nature.

Yes and no... With some tribes they allow for dual-clanning... which means you can clan with as many as you'd like.... THZ does NOT approve of this... So yer... it is possible... but no... it's not possible with THZ.

Yes, most tribes are quite happy if you want to be part of more than one, as long as you have loyalty to them all... THZ, like Kit said, is exclusive, in that, we don't pps playing in more than one tribe, because we're trying to develop as a team...

Okay, okay.... I see what u mean. But what if I'm in a Shifter-only clan, and then I join THZ (a Base-only clan). Would that work? I mean, the clans would never overlap... Do u see what I mean?

None of my business, but...

The XMEN have some dual-members, because some people wanted to play more competitively than we usually do, BEML notwithstanding. Most of these peeps never actually play with us because they're too busy playing with the more competitive tribe. So take that little factoid for what it's worth.

We do not allow dual clanning, even if it were to be for two entirely different video games.

We are a cross-game clan... If there is enough interest we will start a new division of THZ. As for now, we are concentrating on getting ourselves into tribes competition... Some clans, LIke Xmen allow cross clanning... We do not because we intend to be competitive ourselves... someday.

The concern, MG, isn't with the game platform, it's with dedication to a team. If you are part of more than one clan, the fear exists that you might begin to be less equal with the time you spend with one of them, and you really can't grow with a tribe as much if you are split between two, do you understand? I hope I'm making sense...

Ok.... I get the point. No dual clanning, and stuff. (boo hooo....) I guess the whole story is that I joined a Shifter-dedicated clan, that is getting voted for Adminship on several large Tribes and Tribes 2 servers. (It's HomeLAN, if your wondering...) I'd really lkie to play more base, as I think I'll be playing alot of it if I get Tribes 2. THZ is cool, and I know some ppl who are in it. Ahh well. Thanks anyway. (Thanks for putting up with my persistence.)

We're not competing right now anyhow... Perhaps when you have tribes2, and when we are competing, THZ will be a more appropriate choice for you. In the mean time, pull up a chair and make some more friends... we all have likeable personalities... as long as you look for something to like... becasue we can all be quite irritating as well if you let us

I didn't mean to leave the forum (although now that ya mention it it kinda looks that way...) I'm just depressed, and stressed, and loaded with lotsa work and stuff right now. I haven't been playing much of anything in the way of tribes or any other game, for that matter. Too much work. Hey, so what if i can't join THZ right now, it's not like I haven't been rejected from a clan before. My mind is flodded right now... that's all.

Mythril Gear is O.K. (or at least he will be after friday...)

PS: IRC is the devil! I refuse to use IRC! Boo... hiss....
