It should be most awesome. In some ways, this is the most filmable of the three books. Plenty of action, plenty of dialogue, and this time they don't have to chop a ton out to get it at a filmable lentgh. Plus there are some neato new characters.

However, I'm betting the climax of the story will be what really bakes your noodles, and that of course is not till the 3rd film.

Helm's Deep (The battle you see bits of in this trailer) should be a really awesome sequence. Altho I am surprised at one of the things they let slip in that trailer.

Yes the battle scenes in this one coming up look so cool! You can tell they put major effort into it, cant wait!

I saw them show that nasty frog creature a little more wonder if they will show what he looks like from the front? That thing scares me, PRECIOUS!!

To be exact, Gollum is not a frog, he is a hobbit who got mutated (more or less) by the Ring when he had it. And he is supposed to scare you. Gollum is corrupt and not to be trusted. And they will show his face, but they may not show it in a trailer, if that is what you were wondering.

Is anyone glad about Gandalf? Oh, and keep an eye on that blond chick in the trailer, she ROCKS.

BTW I don't remeber them saying that Smeagol was a Hobbit.
I really hope they show the Ents' If they don't that would be retarded. The Best Part, The one I am looking forward to is the Showdown between Gandalf the White and Saruman.

Oh, they'll be showing Ents. Plenty of Ents, as in armies of 'em.

Gandalf said Smeagol used to be a hobbit, back when he was explaining to Frodo how exactly Smeagol got ahold of the Ring in the first place. I think it's in Shadow of the Past, the 3-4th chapter in FOTR.
