You can have my job instead, Dax. No pay, no promotions, no vacations, no gratitude, and the hours stink. You'll get on, you'll get to say so much everyone around you will think that's their name, you can forget going to :. Your eyes will get , and you'll wish you had a to use for disciplinary purposes. When you tell people what you do, you'll get the look and people will think you are for doing it. People will even tell you that you cannot listen to anymore, because it's a bad idea. Still hate your job?

Yah, it'a a pain, But on top of that I'm havin' a bad week. Don't mind me. (No, not PMS ) Gambit's transmission got fried, he got rearended 2 days after we got it fixed, and our daughter's gotta get hearing aids. I feel lower than a snake's navel, so I came in here and griped.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. :

There's nothing wrong with hearing aids... At least as far as I'm concerned... How old is your daughter? And where in the States do you live... I don't know how acceptable socially it is down there, but I know in Canada people are very understanding of people with those funny ear wrap-around things. But don't worry, Rogue... come here to cry when you need to... I know I've cried enough in these forums.

Thanks. Actually, I'm pretty much done crying. We live in Texas, and people are usually ok with the ear wrap arounds, which is what she's getting. Elizabeth will be six in October, which we hope will mean she will be able to catch up. She's going into regular kindergarten in about a week, and loves school. Tries to correct her pronunciation w/out the aids, so she's willing and able to improve.

The other good parts are, we've figured out a way to pay for the aids, Gambit's not hurt, his car is getting fixed on the insurance of the person who hit him, and it didn't get totaled. It's paid for, so we wanted to keep it. So everything's ok.

Hey my sister weres a hearing aid at the age of 21. She doesnt like it but i have never seen anyone who has verbally or by there actions insulted her for haveing it. Some people just need extra assistance hearing. and i think if someone would make fun of someone who is trying to hear that those people have a hurt way down deep and need counsoling My 2 Cents
