Twas peaceful. At least after we got home from the in-laws after Christmas and away from the nieces.

Oh, and there was the exciting bit about having the alternator die in the middle of the 5-hour trip home, after dark. Had to change it out in a gas station parking lot with borrowed tools.

Spent Christmas in three places:
1. at home with my Father and his Parents
2. at the Hospital with my Mother, Father, and his Parents
3. at an Aunts house with my Moms side of the family and my Father

A couple of days before there was a family gathering for my Dads side to celebrate christmas, but I was the only one from my side to show up since my Mom was in the hospital and my dad had to work to pay the bills.

It didn't feel like christmas over all.

I can understand that, with Mom in the hospital. A few years ago I lost my grandmother over the Christmas holiday, and my grandfather was in the hospital for some of that time too.

Now I feel down . Wish everyone had a better holiday but just find one good moment and remember that especially if you had family around.

The day before christmas eve gryphon had been rough housing with the nephews at the yearly family xmas gathering then we came home and he decided to wrestle with the cat, this is their thing they always do, and gotta a little too rough and knocked leroys front lower fang out. And I mean all the way out full tooth. Luckily he seems to be doing great we called an animal hospital and they said he should be ok as their mouths heal quickly but just to keep a look out for infection. The rest of the week went great as we had to travel to Oregon for more xmas'. Just got tired of moving around but enjoyed it. Came home new years eve and was feeling kinda icky and wasnt sure if I was just hungry or might be coming down with something. Rang in the new year and 20 mins after watching the fireworks show on tv layed down and 1 min later yellled at gryphon "think I need a bucket" he looks over to ask what I said and the wall of all days consumption ends up all over the floor . Horrible night of not sleeping and and more bucket time thru the new years day morning. Gryphon comes down with a cold at the same time as this is all going on also. Finally start to feel better this last friday and can eat some solid foods again! Then comes saturday and I get gryphons cold so know Im on the sneezing and blowing nose every 2 mins run now, yippie!

Bad Gryphon bad! You don't need to share EVERYTHING .

it could have been worse tho. there is always something that can happen to make anything even worse than you care to think about. so no matter how bad it may seen just remember it can always be worse
