where is a good place for legal unlimited downloads like Napster? Montly fee type place etc?

I'm looking for a site that charges a montly fee and then all downloads are free. I have found some, and napster isn't compatible with ipod so it's hard to find, and i don't want P2P

Hmm. Looked at MusicMatch? They have a few different models but I'm not sure that they have what you're looking for. Actually I'm not sure anyone will; "unlimited downloads" would be a tough one to get past the RIAA suits.

well napster does it, just not for ipod, plus once you discontinue membership the songs don't work anymore.

Thats messed up.

I was in BestBuy the other day looking for some music and I saw some advertisements for places like napster and I saw one for Yahoo Music that said it was unlimited music. So might wanna check them out. Also said it worked for ipod and other mp3 players devices.

Try easynews.com. Friend just told me about it the other day, haven't given it a shot. There is a 10$ a month fee, and then you get 20 gb of downloads per month. If you need more than 20 gigs of music, well. Wow. Anyway, it's an html based listing of every newsgroup out there (within reason).
