Default For the Christians (especially Catholics) and others interested...

I guess this didn't take earlier, so I'll just post a link to the xmen forums post.

Oh and the "others interested" could be anyone... Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. The Pope was a good man, in my opinion. He didn't always do the good thing, in my opinion, but he did a lot out of the goodness of his heart (and even did some great things) to the extent that I have a huge respect for the man, and a deep sadness at his passing.

He's still alive... Something I found on the web.

Father Andrew Wingate returned to share his prophetic visions, which he says come to him from "heaven," and are confirmed with a group of other mystic priests, before he announces them.

Here is a timeline of events that Wingate laid out: The Pope will be cured of a serious illness, but shortly after that he will go into exile for eight months, though the world will be told he has died. During this period he will "bilocate" and communicate with various religious communities. Around the time of the exile, the United States will be invaded by a united Russian and Chinese army, aided by additional communist forces. The US will already be fighting a war on three fronts when this happens.

He outlined the devastating consequences of the invasion, which he expects to take place no later than four years from now: Around 30% of the US population will die before the invaders are stopped outside of Omaha, with some of the greatest losses occurring in Texas and the southern half of the country.

Wingate predicted that the assassination of the leaders of France and Germany would precede the U.S. invasion. He also described a vision of an airborne bacteria that would take many lives, though he did not specify a time frame for

Ya just like how when W2K was going to hit everything was going down .

I'm not very religous but John Paul was a great man for everything he did thru all his time he served. He didn't stay in the old ways of the religion he went with the flow and knew that technology and advances were a good thing but kept some of the religious aspect the same not falling from his job here on earth. He will be missed man. Rest In Peace.

if Elvis was the King of Rock n Roll, what would we call the Pope?

'Ladies and Gentlemen, John Paul II has left the building!'.

I do ahve to say though, he forgave the man that tried to kill him. That's a wow in excess of wow.
