And why does she have to be about ten years older than me?

WHY?

On another note:

Why do women seem to come in groups? There will be several months where I won't meet any, then there will be a new crop, and I'll have to pick.

As to her age, it's because she was born before you, silly. Besides, what's wrong with older women? And in case you didn't know, women run in flocks in order to protect ourselves from men.

she may only be ten years older than me. BUT, that's just a little outside my self-imposed, age limits. (I'll only go + 4 years, or - 3 years.)

I've met too many women that were 33 or so, or older, and they were looking for husbands. I may be husband material, but I won't even think about marriage until I'm at least 26. I need to make sure that I have all my "bachelor" kinks worked out.

Speaking as an old married lady, I am here to tell you that bachelor kinks never get worked out. They are there forever, no matter what. So if you are going to expect your wife to pick up after you, cook and clean and think for you, and essentially be your mother, which is apparently what most men do, you and the doc are perfect for each other.

Nope, them bachelor 'kinks' never get worked out. I still have trouble keeping the socks off the floor, even after one looong engagement and a couple of other serious relationships before that. I mean, c'mon! There's nothing quite so gratifying as yanking off your socks and throwing 'em in the corner after a long day at work.

As for older women... weeeeeellll... let's just say this... experience counts for a LOT.

Trust me on this.

Frivolity aside, I can understand your reluctance to get married until a later age. It's a large step, one I have considered a couple of times myself at various points, and sometimes it can feel like you're stepping into a yawning chasm. (No offense to the married folks here, btw.)

I'd say at least think about it, were I in your shoes. 'Dating a doctor' wierdness aside, it might be fun.

Well, the self imposed age limit is more because of the fact that I know there are some things that I have not grown out of.

As for learning from an older woman...hehe. I'm up for that. I'll only go up to the late thirties though...and then she has to be very hot.

Now if I can only figure out if she was wearing a ring or not....

Oh another thing: the doctor is hot. So are two girls that I recently met. One I 'visited on saturday.

As for your self-imposed age-limit, I really so think that eventually disappears... most people in high school think that dating more than 1 grade ahead or behind is just sick... then in university, it jumps to about 3 years... and you don't generally date grads. after university... When you've been out in the world for a while (I'm speaking from an existentialist point of view), I think you'll find your age limit gradually increasing as you find less people eligable, and more people outside your limit attractive. Just don't rob the cradle (ewww....

), and you should be fine... Just remember, Women don't reach their sexual peak until their 30's... Men hit it around 18

Haha! If what you are saying is true, Laur, then when I am 40 and unmarried, I'll be looking at people anywhere from 18 years old to 62 years old.

I think on a general level, I will go for people around my own age. In extremely rare cases, I may go outside of that, but only if the person is at the proper maturity level.

This new doctor hasn't given me a physical yet. I am dreading the day that it happens though.
