![]() The instructions specifically say to avoid rechargables. I thought I could get away with it because I got alkaline rechargables, which are supposed to be better for electronic devices and weren't around when my old Palm Pilot Pro was made. The voltage is a little different(lower) between rechargables and regular batteries, not usually enough to notice.
I guess it was different enough to mess up my Palm. Sigh. And the problem with PocketC is that it requires a run-time library to be present when the program is run. OnBoard C produces standalone programs. Not really a problem for the developer (me), but if I choose to distribute any of my applications I want it to be as clean and simple as possible. Sometimes I'm picky. (BTW, does pocketC have a resource editor? For pictures and forms.)
