Born June 4, 2009 at the Austin Humane Society, this handsome, funny, and intuitive kitty enjoys climbing up my legs, waking me up at 4:30 am, and licking my face.

On a more serious note, does anyone have any advice on trimming claws (not getting him declawed)?

there are sevral websites like foster's pet supply that offer plastic/rubber "inserts" that fit over the claws of a cat and cause no harm or damage. also you can try more scratch pads around the house. alternitevely you should look into kitty hypnosis or just settle with wearing plate mail around the house.
