Seriously, whenever I'm broke there's about five billion things I want to buy, and when I've got a lot of spending money, there's nothing I feel the urge to buy whatsoever. HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?

Like this month for example, it's the best month for console games I've seen in AGES, with awesome stuff like Katamari Damacy, Donkey Konga, DDR Extreme, and SILENT HILL 4 coming out, but man, if I could afford even ONE of those I'd be happy.

And on top of that my all-time favourite band is about to release a limited edition boxset that'll be impossible to find soon after its release and which would set me back about $110. >:/ And there's a few random DVDs I'd really like to get for about $50-$60 each. Not really bargain buys, but importing is like that.

That argument SHOULD be true, but somehow it never works out that way.

It doesnt get any better later on in life either so get use to it . I've come into the same situation many times but had to wait for a later time. They are still there when you get money you just aren't able to get it when its a new release right away.

You just got to remember to save when you don't want to buy anything that way when you want something you have it.

Money sure can be a pain sometimes though .

Torque...that just happened to me....I didn't have a gf AND I was all lonely...now i do have one and then 3 girls and 2 boys make offers....yet i was nice and went steady with the gf....*tries not to think about all the missed nookie*

Problem is I always see "limited edition" things where there's only so many copies available or it's pre-order only or whatever. It's a luxury I can't afford and a dirty dirty marketing trick, but it gets me every time.

You just got to remember to save when you don't want to buy anything that way when you want something you have it.

Sound advice for sure. Stuff always seems to come up when I'm trying to save though, unfortunately. Like birthdays or holidays or whatever.

Oh well, I may be on my way back to Jobsville soon, so here's hoping.
