Default Anyone know what's up with EZBoard?

Haven't been able to get to any boards over there all afternoon/evening. It's been kinda sluggish for the past few days, too.

If it was free, that's one thing - but since we're paying for it...

I am gonna guess but I would say that they are performing a system upgrade.

And that they appreciate our patience and understanding during this time. They expect to be back up by midnight tonight (12 AM Oct 3, 2002 PST).

Please note that They will credit all down time to all GOLD communities once they have finished their maintenance. And thank us for our cooperation and understanding.

I hope it doesn't nerf my "Ft. Worth Zoo Invaded!" topic... I put a looooot of time into all those links.

Ya, Jester, nice of them to put the maintenance screen up, AFTER hours of "no server found" error messages.

Prior to the redirect they had an announcement on all the boards that told of the server crash and that they were running on a super slow server, with no lost data, so "Ft. Worth Zoo Invaded!" should be ok

XMENclan.org needs php/mySQL support

Ok, Jester's copy of thier message showed they'd be up by 12:00 am this morning. (PST)

I saw the message that said they'd be up by 8 AM this morning.

Now the message says they'll be up by 8 PM this evening.

I'm beginning to sense a pattern here....

They'd better be super-duper fast compared to their latest performance, if this is the kind of unscheduled downtime they're talking about. I NEED MY EZBOARD FIX.

Ive been following the eaboard help forums for the past few weeks. Many boards have complained about slow boards, yet when a tech goes and visits them, they are fine. Hopefully this broken server was the culprit. I also filled in a request for DTM and XMEN boards to get moved to csc gold servers. Also ezboard 7.0 will be coming out soon, with it will be a revamed ezboard.com and control panels. They are also testing a java chat feature that will allow you an IRC type of chat with the online users of a board.
