Do you know who you're calling???
Some freak was calling all weekend and leaving messages on our answering machine. Do people not listen to the outgoing message??
Ours says "Hi it's Rob and Jodie's...leave a message". Then this lady comes on and tells me how there isn't going to be a party. She also called back later and said she was still waiting for me to return her call. Then her son called this morning to tell me that she would be calling back. They hear the answering maching message every single time!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! Leave me alone freaks!!

Get alot of doctors or "Moms" like BJ said. I think these people need hearing aids. |

I actually wished I had been home one of the times she had called so they would know to look up a new # for her family. Poor grandma! hehe

Or when the person tells you it's the wrong number..TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT! I hate when they have to ask you all these other questions and they still don't get it..
DUDE YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!! AAAAAAHHHH

A couple times at work I've been on the other end of that... I have to call a "John Smith" at 555-5555 and I dial the number and an answering machine picks up. "Hello, you've reached Joe, Suzy and Thomas's house please leave a message"
So I have to leave the message regardless

I love callerID.
If I get a number that I don't recognize, I'll call them back. Usually it's a friend with a cell phone, or a friend of my roommate's. Funny too, because if it's someone trying to sell me something, I have a thing on my answering service that tells people that I don't accept calls from telemarketers. Yet they still call...dumbasses. I did make the mistake once of yelling at the person that called, after the same person called like 5 times in 10 minutes. It turned out to be my dad. He wasn't too happy, until I explained it to him. |
