I mean just READ the random quotes at the top... There is at least one sexual insult toward me, and one toward Dynomutt that I can remember off hand... If you can't take the heat don't beat the meat... that's what I always said...

In any case, what I'm trying to say is that my girlfriend rocks.

Girlfriends only suck when you allow them to suck... and I do not mean that you should pimp slap them when they get out of line.. I mean that you have to have a good perspective on what "out of line" is. My girlfriend tends to be a... RANDOM person and acts the way she wants... but I absolutely LOVE that in a person, so we work well together, although at times it doesn't seem that way. I've been seeing her for 2 years now, and she's wearing a diamond ring (take from that whatever meaning you want)

We have an amazing relationship because we do not take everything as "End the relationship" when we don't get along... In case you didn't know yet, MG... i'm disagreeing with your statement about keeping a relationship up... I believe that if you are unhappy with a relationship you should WORK IT OUT! Don't dump someone in hopes that you'll find someone better, because that's just jaded and naive, you'll never find anyone different... we're all the same inside. The truth is, relationships take a LOT of work... so much that I suggest that those who are single, you should revel in your freedom while you have it... Not to say that I am not free, because I am very happy in my relationship...

Think of it this way... Anything you have that is better than nothing, is worth sacrificing to keep. I'm willing to NOT spend time with my friends on a weekend I was planning to if it means keeping my girlfriend happy. Just the same as she is willing to let me go have my fun with my friends when I want to, to keep me happy. Girlfriends do not "SUCK" they only require some patience, and understanding, and compromise.

If you cannot do these things, THEN end your relationship, because it is hopeless already.

Too many people give up these days... It's annoying that hearing the word "Divorced" isn't shocking anymore. Be more dedicated people... in everything you do.

I haven't had a girlfriend since my first year of college. And then I just didn't want one for a while, to concentrate on school. I would date and all that, but nothing serious. Now, I'm finding how hard it is to meet girls, as a graduate student in engineering.

It's truly sad. The only cute girls that I see are in the classes that I teach...and they're my students. (Which means that I can't have any kind of relationship with them, unless I am willing to get kicked out of school...all it takes is one rumor!)

Oh well, I don't think I could finish my master's if I had a girlfriend. We would be doing too many other things...lot's of things...a lot of the time...it would be fun.

Asha, I know how hard it is to find a GF. What has always happened for me is that when I finally stop looking, one of 'em drops into my lap, so to speak.

It was as if they (the girls) realized, "Oh, crap! He's finally figured out that he doesn't need one of us! Let's rope him in now before it's too late!" Well, maybe not that exact thought, but it seemed like it at the time.

As for your class situation... is there anything preventing you from 'gettin jiggy' with those cuties that arent in your class?

As for kits long message: very good Kit, and very very true. I had problems with my last gf no matter how much I cared for her. Things eventually didn't work out reason: I was willing to fix things she wasn't. But hey it happens and it killed me, however im totally fine now.
