You could run a really long hose down here, we're pretty dry.

Hi.
Been pretty busy with work up until about four weeks ago. Then I tore up my knee. Just starting to re-learn how to walk. Other than that, I'm doing good. Looking for a job that's closer to Seattle. The desert sucks. I'll post more later. Been having problems sleeping due to the heat lately. |

Been looking at staying in government service if I can. It's a pretty good deal overall.
The other option is working for a private company. Right now, my number one dream job is working for Aerojet in Redmond. I'd love to actually put my rocket science stuff to good use on a rocket (instead of a chemical laser, or DE weapons). Though if there is a DE weapons company up in the Seattle area, I am interested. If either of those don't work out, then there's always the various Boeing things up that way. And if worse comes to worse, there's Pacific Northwest National Labs, and some of the DoE stuff. It was just hitting home last week that I am so far away from my family if something goes wrong. My girlfriend found this out first hand last week: a very close family friend lost the war to cancer a week ago. She'd been fighting for 22 years. It made me think of how old my grandma is, and how old my parents are. |
