You guys having problems with the XMEN site?

It's down for me, and I was wondering if something was screwed up, or if it was a DNS problem.

It is down for me too and been down since about 6pm yesterday, I think.

The link you provided brings up a Admin or User login screen.

Sorry, guys. At some point yesterday, Sunday, 10/16, around noon Central, it went *POOF*. The XMEN and several other neighboring IPs were suddenly 401. The site exists now, but it's a bare skeleton and all the content is gone. Looks like a hard drive (array?) went south.

I've put up a page for now describing the problem, and I've emailed support. I do have a backup of the website, but not the forum database. It always said I had to have an FTP server to back it up to.

I appreciate the offer, Gryph, and might take you up on it if we're really hosed here.

Update:
Sounds like we'll be OK. Got a note back with instructions from tech support. They'll restore the database if I tell 'em the name (done). I'm not sure how current it'll be.

Apparently they had a complete OS meltdown:

...but they have the content itself. I've just finished uploading all the site info, so as soon as the database is back the forums will be good again!
