Nintendo Revolution Controller pics
I know I know, i tottaly went "OMG A DVD REMOTE"
Then I saw this::: http://media.cube.ign.com/articles/6...34/vids_1.html Nintendo is known for its imagnination in new gaming products, failed or not, they would be the only ones with balls enough to think outside of the box. If anyone can pull this off, it's deffinitly them. |

I saw this too, the explanation made it seem like kind of a good idea
"A game controller that your mom wont be scared of."

Weird. I think my interest in Nintendo is dead for me, they appear to me to be very Fisher-Price style. XBox is my console of choice now, still quite a ways behind PC however.

I bought the Game Cube because of Metroid Prime. But with the ever increasing costs I will no longer buy any more games or systems. It was hard enough to justify buying the Game Cube with my low income and the 5 games I have for it. There is no way I can justify buying any system over $200 with games at $50 or more ever again. The cost to enjoyment ratio has been falling. I no longer see such games as their worth. I don't care how much better they get in quallity. I want replay value.
I have gone back and started playing Super Nintendo, and N64 instead of buying new games. I have started playing old computer games as well. The cost is just getting to the point where you have to have a quarter of a million dollar income to support yourself and buy new systems and games.

I had Ps1 since it came out... then when Ps2 and xbox came out... I was already accustomed(sp?) to the ps1 controller. Since you could play the Ps1 games on Ps2 it was perfect!! So I stayed with that. I thought about grabbin' an Xbox except for the fact that online wasn't free like ps2's...
And All of the new controllers look goofy. But not as much as this nintendo one! |

I have one of those back at home with a fully operational Atari and couple dozen games. Need to bring that out the next time I am home, it has been years. It was also out before my time (born in 1984).

go dig it out Stang
i've got the 2600 'junior'... it has a fake steel cover and push switches instead of toggles, which i now have to open up to fix i've also got about 20-odd games here, with some doubles.... if you unearth yours, honestly, check ebay, it's where i got mine. Something else interesting that didn't occur to me until today; you can use original Sega controllers on the atari, the ports are exactly the same. Now i wish i'd kept my Genesis
