I have set up you a server
Here goes an experament.
It is a PIII with 128 Ram on a T1. Name : DeLukas's Rat Race Maps: CTF Players: 16 Password: None Things that will most like change. It will be up all of today but in the future it will most likly only be up from 5:00 pm CST to 8:00 am cst. I can up the number of players and/or password it as needed. Anyway, Test it and tell me what you think. |

Now that would be 7 to 11 EST, rigth??? Anyways, I'm gonna give a try probably tommorow

If i put it on the DNS Server. I made this PC out of spare parts
EST would be 6:00 pm to 9:00 am Last edited by DeLukas; 06-06-2001 at 12:26 PM. |

Actually, you're both wrong. It would be 6PM EST to 9AM EST.... One hour difference between CST and EST, except that we are one hour AHEAD of CST. (When we are at 7PM, they're at 6, and so on)

Well Me, Laurelin, Skullface, and Stuwey played on, Wed. night , and it seemed ok, a little laggy spots here and there but otherwise nice.
But with the server not being on all the time wont it be the same as when BJ did it on the weekends, no permanent IP? |

The IP should be permanent and it looks as if I will be able to keep it up 24/7
I wanted to test the dran it would have on my works lan during the day. Everything worked out ok. I may be messing around with adding new maps and checking out DnD today. |

Drain, like on a sink
On a network if on PC is sending and receiving a lot of packets then there can be data coalitions that slow down the whole network. |
