An offline, non MMO game kinda like Earth and Beyond. It looks pretty solid, and one of my Macintosh friends said the Mac version is pretty sweet. I'm getting it for sure.

Looks neat

A little confused as to the mission of the game. Initial sshots seemed to remind me of Starflight, but that was kind of an exploration and mining game with little fighting. This one appears that you will fight a lot? What is the goal of the game? In Starflight it was to find a new habitable planet before yours dies.

I think this is a trading/fighting game... basically, try to make money off of trade, and force planets to trade with you when they don't wanna... I think... I'll ask my friend.

These mining/trading/fighting games are sure comin out of the woodwork lately it seems. Must be making a comeback.

We have a winner!

This is the kind of game I've been missing. All the elements of the great old games like Privateer and enough simplicity that you still enjoy playing it. I'm prolly gonna buy the full version of this.

Okay this is getting rediculous. I've been playing this game so much I'm dreaming about it. Thanks for the tip Laur, this is turning into an all time favorite for me. I paid the 30$ for registration, and I gotta say it was money well spent.

Oh, and I find the game much more enjoyable if you don't help that first Vell-Os who tries to give you a mission. While that does lead you down an interesting path it eliminates 80% of the game features.
