here's the badge btw for anyone that wants it; dump it into the Homeworld\Bin\Profiles\Badges\ folder, and it will show up in the selection screen the next time you play multiplayer or a skirmish.

Also, for fans of the franchise, how can we forget Kiith Somtaaw? I tossed that one in too

hehehe, it's Agnus Dei if i remember correctly, but i dont remember the composer. Where's Aluscia when you need him?

hmm... SiFi, i already asked you, but... what's more amusing. seeing a superior fleet mop the floor with someone else,or watching two resource controllers duking it out with their piddly cannons?

Oh, the superior fleet one ;P
The composer of Angus Dei was Samuel Barber

i just reinstalled the original HW on Pollux... having some graphics issues in the build menu

I didn't realize, until i started it up, the engine tweaks that were made with Cataclysm and HW2... the polygonal LOD per unit alone is a vast improvement

Yeah. And I really don't think the original HW vocals track was Agnus Dei. Sure doesn't sound like what >I< have heard as Agnus Dei, but then I may not have heard it all.

In the original Homeworld credits, that song is credited as Angnus Dei, composed by Samuel Barber. There's also an arrangement for string orchestra thats almost as good.

To make sure we're on the same page here, we're talking about the song that plays the first level (training), third level (destruction of Kharak) and 16th level (Hiigara). The one that's solely vocals, and what I consider to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music in the woirld Both versions that I have are over eight minutes long.
