Hi guys,

Just bought T2 and was sorta disappointed. I was really looking forward to it and come back to tribes. Personally I think tribes 1 is better. Maybe it's just my 466 celeron and my crappy tnt2 video card. The graphics on t2 don't look that much better and I would say it actually looks worse. In my first try I got whipped...hehe.... The interface looks different and is not intuitive... maybe I just have to get used to it. How have u guys been doing?

It's been awsome for me. I'm running an Athlon 650, with Voodoo 3 3000 card, so that's probably why. The graphics look MUCH better to me, and while the gameplay takes a few days to adjust to, I'm really happy with it.

On the bright side - you should find the T1 servers a LOT less crowded now!

T2 is amazing... aside for the frontend not being complete yet... I'm very happy with the gameplay of it. The graphics are almost something out of Bryce and the fogging and shadow effects are brilliant... I'm very very happy with T2... The game play balance needs a little tweaking only in the aspect of snipers... but other than that... Yeah, it's great. I also have a 650 mhz Athalon with a Creative Annihilator 2 Ultra... so that may also be a reason... because I have all the graphic sliders up to full. a 32 on 32 game is phenominal on a big map... and the browser and what not will make the game much more immersive once they are online.

I have few complaints... but Tribes 1 is not on my harddrive anymore.BTW It's nice to see you around, Kwanza... I've heard a lot about you! I hope you stick with Tribes2... we could use as much help as you can offer.

Long time....

Good to see you're still alive. How's studies?

My suggestion. Try to pickup a gforce 2 mx. A 32 megs card usually costs around 120 bucks nowadays, relative to your local. It'll make a huge difference in any game.

I think the graphics are awesome. Hell I lob mortars around just to watch them explode. To the dismay of my teammates though.

My biggest complaints at the moment is lack of 'good' players. Very few people know what to do in the pilots or bombers seats in the havok. No one even attempts to use targeting lasers STILL. Not many people care about actual teamwork and there's alot of TK's running around on FF servers. Bah...

I'm jumping back and forth from T2 to Counterstrike still and the occassion foray into Asheron's Call. I still can't believe I have anyone in my monarchy still, but it's actually growing???? Oh well....

I haven't been in any games for a few days. Been upgrading my home audio system. Which reminds me, I gotta grab some more dvds...
