I bought one a couple months ago from a guy at work - an old Palm Pilot Professional with the 2mb/IR upgrade. Now it's flaking out on me, so I bought a new 3xe on eBay for $118. From a company in Toronto, ironically enough, Laur.
Tip - never ever use rechargables in your Palm. Even the alkaline ones.
I will love having a full 8MB to carry around; it was pretty easy to fill up the 2MB in the old one.

A game you might want to check out is called Ackeron. It's an RPG, and a pretty good one for something like a Palm.

I downloaded OnBoardC. It's a C compiler and resource editor that runs ON THE PALM. So you can write programs anywhere. And compile and run them on the spot. I got it after I was looking into a drawing program, and the author said he wrote it with OnBoardC during cigarette breaks and such.

I also used it to read when I had a moment or two. I read "Island of Dr. Moreau" again, and "Call of Cthulu" for the first time. There are a number of document readers out there, and several places to get books from. The last reader I tried was TomeRaider.
