I went on Saturday. Yes, I liked it. But then, ROTK is my favorite of the 3 books, and this one stuck the closest of the 3 so far. Didn't feel like 3 1/2 hours either. There literally is no time to breathe. Weddings were good, tho they only had 2 of the 3 from the book. Sam, Gollum, Eowyn and Theoden are Oscar worthy, tho again, I expect no such recognition alas.

Watch Eowyn especially, ladies.

Oh, and anyone with arachnophobia, watch out.
