Ok... my request
 

Ok guys... I'm gonna attach a couple of pics I have of Morrigan from Darkstalkers (my lovely sig figure), or you're welcome to go hunting on the net for your own.
Bottom line is: I want a new sig! I've had this one ever since I had to take my flash one down for Jester's Dial-up sake.
Requirements:
1)Has to have my name and tag (it's just THZ*Laurelin atm... I revoked my DTM back in the day)
2)Can have the quote I have listed "... the other bore leaves of a young green like the new-opened beech; their edges were of glittering gold. Not necessary, but I like having the quote on because it explains my name, and has a few baudy innuendos in it I rather like. (Mmm, golden horns)
3)Can be in any form, including one that has hyperlinks in it (with a link to THZ, of course), or have those links below it (Like Steele's or Kitzune's)
4)Can be a Slideshow of different designs, like Gryph's

Okies... Surprize me, be original or not... If no one posts anything, I'll cry but understand when people are busy. I may make my own if there aren't any other entries.

Oh, quick ammendment: If you find a sexier, non-Morrigan pic that you think would suit me, try it! I'm not fancy, I just really dig the batwings-succubus look.

I'm trying to keep it a manageable size (IMHO, your current one is a bit too large) and there's a lot of text in that quote. And of course I had to try it with that font... :D

My main concern is with its readability, though. At first I tried to put the quote in the space below the name, but I couldn't get a color that looked decent and had enough contrast with the goldy-green of the pic, even with an edging, in that font. :( So I made the black area and put the quote in it. I suppose if I made the scroll very pale I could pull it off.

But that gives me another idea...

I love it, Gambit... Very fantasy-ish! True to the quote, for sure. (If it won't fit on the pic, make the pic look nice, and I can always print it out as a blurb below)

Nice work Gambit :). I like the scroll idea also it will give it a little more of a kick, I could read the scroll one better than the black one. Im sure you'll come up with something :).

Ah, another. I still did not put the quote in a scroll, but... ;)

very nice, a little more height, but not as big as my current one... I like.

Personally, I like the first one better if I had a vote in it :D

Well, they're both a little rough. Enhancements to the first would include making the black area into a parchment look. Enhancements to the second would be to add bats, probably round the scroll ends somewhat, might texture the moon better, and rework the name a bit.

As they stand, I like the overall look of the first one better, but I prefer the composition of the second. :) If that makes any sense. I'll give it a rest for a while to let some other entries have a shot, and then if you want to go with one of these I can make the enhancements.
