While playing a CTF game a scout grabbed our flag. Two of us where near the enemy base and staked it out to wait of the flag carrier to show.

Well as soon as he popped up over a hit i opened up with a chain gun, but the guy next to me shot a missile. I figured a missile would be useless as scouts often have flares.

Sure enough the scout tossed a flare. Then another and another and another. It total the tossed 4 . . .and the missile followed them right down to him.

Flares are useless.

I have never seen a flare work in my entire T2 life (about 12 days now)

Then you are waiting to log to throw it. They always work. You just have to toss them so the are far away from you.

I don't know what Raven is talking about either, I think they are way too effective.
