Mazzy, you're soooo mean! :cry :cry :cry :cry :cry
I think I'm going to look up my good friend from public school, Francis McMullen. He was going to breed a species of attack cats, vicious creatures that would kill on command, and love all the rest of the time...

Dynomutt 06-21-2001 08:27 AM

Sounds like an idea from a kid with some serious issues :D

Maz 06-24-2001 12:15 PM

DeLukas 06-24-2001 12:25 PM

Lard. It's whats for dinner!

Maz 06-24-2001 01:09 PM

I think I'd rather have an McDonald cheesebburger, made with pickles, ketchup, oignons, cheese, and that brown-tofu-chemical-stuff-with-Wendy's-leftover meat pattie

Aluscia 06-24-2001 04:24 PM

Uhh... I hate to shatter everyone's McDonald's dreams... but they use soy meal in their burgers... I know this, because some one I know who ate Burgers there for 10 years now has diabetes... it wasn't from any of the other things, it was traced directly to the burgers. Soy meal is REALLY bad for you, too.

I would rather eat at Wendy's any day than at Mickey D's... They nearly killed my ex-girlfriend (who is now one of my friends). She was working there for nearly a year, when she slipped on a big pile of grease, and hit her head on one of the big heavy shelves they have in the back. She now has post-concussion sydrome (She can't even use her right hand anymore, it shakes too much... She also can't be anywhere there are bells), and tried to sue McDonald's... But Mr Sgro (asshole who owns all of Burlington's McDonald's) denied the whole incident, and tried to prove that Krystal's memory was messed up. She didn't pass the long term memory test, the case failed... I'm pissed about now, even tho it happened nearly 2 years ago. She'll never be a normal contributing factor to society... THAT's why I don't eat at McDonald's (besides the soy meal).

Maz 06-24-2001 04:58 PM

I hate McDonalds too, I always eat at Wendy's when I want a burger, fast food corp are a pain, I went a Burger King once, they charge me 45$ for a burger, I went back with the reciept the same day, and they would'nt re-imbursed me, bunch of @$$hole, anyways, I don't eat at BG or McD anymore, only Wendy's

Stang 06-24-2001 06:30 PM

Mc'Ds makes the best fries!!!

Wendy's is ok but Ill stick with McD's :)

XRogue 06-24-2001 06:57 PM

I hate McD's. BK os acceptable. Wendy's too. But not McD's

XMEN Ashaman DTM 06-24-2001 08:24 PM

hi

Ugh. McDonald's sucks.

Case: I used to work on cars. I was changing the oil on a car once, when some of the oil splattered up and hit me in my mouth. I got a few drops on my tongue...and it was horrid. The REALLY disgusting part is that McDonald's french fries taste EXACTLY like used motor oil. I have never eaten there since. The only place that I have eaten at since then has been Jack in the Box...those spicy chicken sandwiches are great!

Dynomutt 06-24-2001 08:52 PM

Okay Maz:

$45 for a burger? How in the world would you even put yourself into a situation where you had to go BACK to get your money back? Wouldn't you find that a little unusual to begin with and argue it on the spot rather than later?

That's like $28 for a burger for us Americans. I'm sorry but I would find that just a little bit odd and would refuse to pay to begin with.

And if you used a credit card or debit card and didn't check your receipt before signing then that's your own fault :D

Aluscia 06-25-2001 02:56 AM

You never sign for a debit bill... and some cashiers are idiots.

XMEN Ashaman DTM 06-25-2001 01:31 PM

hi

I would have started yelling at them...

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? WHY AM I CHARGED 45 DAMN DOLLARS FOR A BURGER?"

By that point, the manager would come out to see what is going on. AND everyone in the establishment would be looking at us.

I would have a really pissed off look on my face, and the effect of having everyone look at us would put the manager in the position of "get this over quick".

It works every time. The main thing that you have to remember, is that you are the customer, they are serving you. You going to their place, is a privelege for them. ;)

Crono_Magnum 06-25-2001 05:21 PM

ok this sounds weird me being a guy and all but my favorite fast food place is dicks. not the body part the fast food place if you don't live in washington you prolly won't know what this is but if you do they you better lol

chris

Aluscia 06-25-2001 06:21 PM

Hee hee... too easy to mess with that post... I'll go easy on yah this time, Chris... Just don't open yourself up so easily... ;)

Crono_Magnum 06-25-2001 08:21 PM

I know it is lol thats why i stated and restated that is was a resturant and not a body part lol

DeLukas 06-26-2001 09:12 AM

Laur, you are just a fountain of happy facts.

However, i am having a problem linking soy and diabetes. If it is difficult to link Soy to diabetes, then linking McD hamburgers to diabetes would be even harder.

Quote:

SOY AND DIABETES

Diabetes occurs when cells cannot obtain the glucose (blood sugar) they need in order to survive.

Normally, glucose is produced when the body breaks down complex carbohydrates. Cells need insulin, a hormone produced in the pancreas, to absorb glucose. In diabetics, natural insulin may be present, but cells do not recognize it as such and so cannot absorb glucose.

Research into soy's effect on diabetes found less glucose in the urine of diabetics who consumed soybeans. This could indicate that their cells were able to absorb more glucose.

Soluble fiber, found in soy, may help to regulate glucose levels. Scientists also believe that a high-fiber, high-carbohydrate diet may actually help enable cells to recognize the insulin in the bloodstream. It is important to note, however, that the fiber content in soyfoods can vary significantly.

Aluscia 06-26-2001 01:30 PM

I'm talking about soy meal, something that is like processed soy... something nastola...
