City of Heroes
 

After some thinking, I decided to leave Lineage until C1 comes out... if nothing is made better, I won't miss the game much. However, I picked up this little gem instead.... SUPER FUN! I'll attach two of my fav screenies :D

I bought Star Wars Galaxies yesterday, I am playing with a bunch of ATF. I will keep my Lineage account active at least until C1

I played Star Wars Galaxies but City of Heroes is much better. I luv the Santa pic. Star Wars Galaxies you have to do a lot of crap but in CoH they make it a little more easier.

CoH is greater then SWG from what I hear, people that I use to play FFXI with play CoH now, and they love it

It's hugely quest oriented, but it's fun quests.... because There is no grinding you have to do before the next quest. The grind is completely gone :D

That game is gettin great reviews from everyone and its sucking people in everyday.

Love your costume :). I wanna see what the front looks like now :). I like how you can totally create your own character that way you dont see the same person over and over in the game.

Oooooh I wanted this game at the same time as Lineage 2.... I looked at them both and had to make a tough choice.... I may have made the wrong one... I love comics and superheros so much....

It sounds like Insaneferret is playing CoH too.

Victory, but I may start on another server :D That's the good thing about it, not really grindy... although I'm having trouble finding Circle of Thorns peeps to bust up in King's Row.... any suggestions?

Hey is there any other type of areas besides the city? All I see are city shots every where and just wondering if they have other areas.

There's some parks..... but they're really really scary >.< Otherwise, yeah... it's all city

its got loads of indoor areas, and each city zone has it's own flavor, ghetto, industrial port, cultured district with huge statues etc.

there's the danger zones like the woodsy perez park, a city thats been destroyed by an earthquake, dark city crawling with the undead and ghosts

indoor missions in sewers, offices, warehouses, caves, tech style buildings, nazi underground bases

always lots of variety

this game looks cool

and i think that character looks like KOS-MOS from Xenosaga

I have a program called Irfan View.... That's what I used to crop/save as a new format.

i used a freeware prog called wavel pic2pic to convert them to something usable

first 2 pics, are my character Silvermoon, based on a character I drew in highschool, almost identical just missing her cloak :(
next 2 are an intro to "boomtown" where an alien invasion, and being overrun by mobs of gangs has completely destroyed part of the city.
As soon as I find it again, I will post a picture of a car impaled on a tree :D

I'm playing a Fire Blaster right now... talk about super fun! So many cool abilities... Like Rain of Fire, Fire Ring, etc etc etc.... so much fun :D

I have a radiation/empathy defender also, and I think I'm starting Shai'tan, the flame/inuvlunerable tank next ;)
though my scrapper DOES make a decent tank with so many densive skills already, but she drinks END like water.

nasty new area of the city that I have been recently introduced to. Called Faultline.
has cracks that are close to a half mile deep, they do have bottoms filled with as many baddies as the surface(which is like running into an aggresively violent block party)
1st pic is of Silvermoon highlighted by my Quick Pretige Power, so stang can pick her out :P jumping into the crevice(beasties in bottom right-hand corner are some sort of Circle of Thorns Demons)
2nd one is trying to get a perspective on the area

OMG, the world ISN'T flat! Finally a sshot with some variation in the landscape.

I'll get some of perez park for you, there are still several areas I can't enter, and I won't go back to faultline w/o an 8 player team(got slaughtered while taking pictures, lol)
