While I do not believe in a heaven and hell, world in opposites kind of reality (obligatory marginally related Flaming Lips quote), I'm pretty down with Satan in music in general, since back in the day when people actually took metal seriously, droppin' his name made for a pretty damn good marketing scheme.

I don't think there's anything sinister whatsoever about mainstream metal though, and PARTICULARLY not the classic stuff. It's mostly cheesy guitar riffs and big bad hair, so pfft. Rave is the new metal. And I'm sure it poses much more of a threat than pretend Satan worship does, thanks to the wonderful world of designer drugs. Hooray!

if you were to listen to the lyrics for both forwards and backwards, and read the lyrics, you see that there is actually a connection between the two.
