It's a swedish slang word. Less clinically accurate than penis, but also less rude than kuk (approx. equal to the English ****). There are many more names for it, though...

Well, there's ****, dick, penis, schlontz, johnson, prick, pee pee, wee wee, bee bee, willy, pickle, stick, rod, manhood, shaft, phallus, member, and probably quite a few others. Then there are phrases like ding-a-ling, one-eyed-pirate, lil' bugger (a british saying), and so on.

But snopp... sounds too close to "snip" for me. ;)

Not that snipping is bad, it's just I'd rather not think about losing my wee wee.

Danish? Not any kind of Danish I have ever heard, it isn't... Of course, that depends a lot on how you pronounce it. And don't you dare compare Danish to Swedish . That'd be like... I dunno... comparing your standard below average primary school band to the Moscow symphony orchestra, or something. I mena, whereas Swedish may not be entirely beatiful and may sound rather harsh to your ears, Danish is just plain UGLY! ;)
