I have learned the key thing to do when negotiating anything.

Make you first demand completly outragous. Then barter down to what you really wanted in the first place.

Case in Point:

Me: I want all 6 points you marked off on my paper back.
Teacher: I don't agree with you answers, they are wrong
Me: Well, I showed the main point of this question can I have one point back?
Teacher: Hmm. . .Yes you did. Here. (Gives back two)
Me: Thank you very much.

So it really took more then that, but that is what it boiled down too. I need one point back on a 25 point assignment to get a B on it. . .so i when in gunning for all 6.

I think you're missing an l in the name of your quote... Besides that, I don't understand what you're going on about, DeLukas, but I do understand what getting a B instead of a C means :D
