I was watching the local news the other day when they played a segment called "Health Matters" on Global News (a regular segment that plays little-known health factoids, and/or the latest in medical research.) and they told me the best news I have ever heard.

A new scientific study was released last week that is the following: 100 Men and women were told to eat their normal diet plus a suppliment of bread, which should in theory do nothing for their health. ANOTHER 100 Men and women were told to eat their normal diet plus a healthy suppliment of CHOCOLATE, which should in theory be unhealthy for the person. They were intending to find out exactly how bad chocolate is. Their hypothesis proved very wrong. They found that chocolate contained a pheromone that is in Red Wine and other heart-helping friends that we all love and actually decreases your chance of a heartattack if eaten regularily. They also reported that the other nutritional facts about eating chocolate regularily turned out to be very mild...

Translation:

I CAN EAT AS MUCH CHOCOLATE AS I WANT, *AAAAND* I can use the excuse that I am saving myself from HEART ATTACKS!!! It's BEAUTIFUL!... I love my chocolate, and you should too now.

(Now if only my tooth wasn't rotted so much that it HURTS when I eat chocolate... ahh well.. I'll wait til my next dentist appointment... then he'll fix it all up. :) )

I think the term used was flavinoids.

And fruits are still a much healthier way to pick them up, that way you miss out on the fat and sugar, which are still not so good for you. 8)

Now, go do as I say, not as I do. :lol
