**INSTALL**
Place WeaponSupport in the tribes2/base folder.
DeLukas's Weapon Support is needed for this script, you may download it from
http://www.thzclan.com/public_html/DeLukas/

You are ready to go!

**How to use**

You must bind a key to access the setup hud and you may bind a key to toggle on and off WeaponSwap.

**What it Does**
WeaponSwap will switch weapons after firing. You may select a primary and a secondary switch. If the
primary is not present or does not have ammo you will be swapped to the secondary selection.

:( I tried it and i couldnt change to next weapon and the swap didnt work, I know my mouse was working, I have left side button bound to f10, i even changed it back to W
still dint work, prev weapons still worked.
I downloaded the version that said I didnt need any other file.

I just removed all the old files and placed it in my game and it worked fine.

1) where did you drop the vl2 file
2) have you bound a key to bring up the hud
3) what happens when you bring up the hud

What key is bound should not matter as the weapons will swap after a stop fire command is issued to the console.

the hud worked perfectly, I bound HUD to 2 and on/off to 1 I'll try it again. Oh yeah, i put it in the base folder.

I tried again, I put it in my base folder. Set up all the weapon swaps. But I still cant change weapons. Two things are going on.

1) the normal weapon change doesnt work-manually swap to "next weapon"

2) the weapons swap is not working


The hud comes up and looks good. When you turn the weapons swap on or off is there a hud that comes up and tells you? And does it default to on?

but I get really bad intermitant freezes. like PL but I am pinging good, and have 40+ fps not sure what that is, also it over writes Wizpack's Sniperzoom :/ (this is a script that mounts the sniper rifle when you zoom) Is there a way around this or can you add it to weapon swap?

Not sure what the freezing is, I was thinking maybe it was tracking all the startstop fire instead of just mine so I was getting overloaded? Have you experianced this. (I removed weaponswap and it went away.) On the plus side even with the freezes I was ruling some DUel servers tonight :D

Ok, I am going to have to update it to us wizards pack and not my own. . .we will see what that fixes.

yeah... when you have the script, your weapon cycling gets *REALLY* ****** up... I'm sorry, DeLukas, you are awesome, but it made dueling horrible...

You should use Writers weapon support, not many people use Wizards...I know I don't.

Awesome, works NICE no lag, SniperZoom works. all the swaps work. ON OFF works. Good work, now dont release it so THZ* can have the tactical advantage.

ps I found your next project. Hover isnt working right in TAC2 for some reason. THis is a definate MUST for TAC :(

ok,
SO last night I was talking to Wizard and He let me BETA his new Wizpack, and I got the "latest" version of support.vl2. I thought that it was support.vl2 that was causing this but......
after going through each script one by one.,

Weaponswap caused my repair gun to come out and immediately swap to disk/anotherweapon



I use Wizpack constant repair- on/off doesnt affect it. And Pj's constant repair is off. (doesnt work anyway)

THe repair gun comes out, I dont have enough time to even try to manually repair before it swaps. :/
