I dont know if this has already been requested, but I will ask for it anyway.

I want to be able to know where my mortar (fusion or normal) will land. You know in the bomber, you can see where your bombs will land? Well, I want something like that!

If I move my recticle up to increase projectile distance, I want to see the spot on the ground where it will land. You probably know what I mean, and I know it is possible...

May require A LOT of work, but im too lazy to learn the game code right now.

Here is the problem. In the bomber you are above your target. With the mortar you can be over a hill, or in a place where you would not see the target on the ground.

However, some scripts that replace the mortar HUD are over at the script depot

I will look. While it MIGHT be possible there is a lot more to it then just saying put a target on the ground. You have to get the distance the mortar will go at the angle it is at, at the speed the person is moving, at the height the person is at, physical barriers, and mortar shells can bounce.

I figure getting a beacon like line might be easier, but I don't know. This is something I will start looking into just as soon as I get the hover script working and get some of the requested HUDS working.

If you have time please do learn. I have not even started the list of requested scripts. The last one was a personal project.

The idea is still being worked out and has room for modifications, but I want to know where my mortar is going to land..

It oulw be cool if a little camera window would open so I would know exactly where my "heavy love" will get to work.

Maybe even a mortat cam so I can watch it fly and then impact.
