Ok, I played in this weekend's stress test. I liked. I pre-ordered, in fact.
We may just get the lifetime subscription. I'm pretty sure one of us would be playing it. :)

The only question is, when will you get a chance. :p

Hehe. I played in the beta a bit, not too bad of a game, but it isn't enough to pull me away from WoW.

I was thinking about going back to DaoC this summer. *ducks* Hey, stop throwing eggs at me!
But seriously, if it's decent I might give it a go

Well, if they do this anything like they did Asheron's Call, they'll be adding new stuff and having cool events & contests all the time. I never played any other MMORPGs, so I don't know if WoW, DAOC, and other do something similar or not.

I climbed off my horse and *bumped* my head...:p
Welp, LOTRO is in, up and running. We did get the lifetime, and I'm loving it.
Except that I keep getting lost. :p

What server?

I'm on Arkenstone. :D Should I watch out for you?

Hehe, probably not. I just like to keep tabs on where friends are in MMO's just in case. Unlike some people :p, I try and make an effort to play on the same server as my friends.

She's on Arkenstone, and I'm on Windfola, FWIW. :) We only have the one account between us so we're never on at the same time.

omg... I'm on Nimrodel >< Welll, if I make an alt (which I will, lifetime membership ftw~), I'll definitely come over :)

I can make an alt on Nimrodel as well, I was in fact going to start a new character up Monday or Tuesday, and was waiting to see where to go. :D
Let me know who to watch out for, Alu.

How does one search for another player, anyway? Me=Lame

I just added your name to my Friends list... and since the list carries over to alts too, no matter which toon I'm on Nimrodel with, I'll see :)
XRogue

Ok, I'll do the same. :D

Seems Lauraen hasn't been accessed lately....what alts do you have on Nimrodel?

I'm sorry, it's my bad. I took a break from the game (since I've paid my dues, so to speak, I didn't feel too bad about it) to study for my MCSE and deal with other RL stuff. I should be back to playing, although I'm considering server hopping. Who knows :)

No problemo. :) I'll be around if ya wanna fellowship or whatnot, if it doesn't work out no sweat.
How did the MCSE go, and what is it precisely?

It's a series of 7+ examinations for getting the MCSE certification (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). It's a silly formality for me, because my course work was already centred around the MS books, and I stupidly (although I didn't have money either...) decided not to do the official exams while I was pursuing my diploma. So... Anyway, a new job requires that I have it (or am at least on the way to getting it) It's a pain, but I suppose it'll all work out in the end.
