First, a little background on the meaning of this poem. This poem is written from the point of view of someone with not too long left on this earth. Someone dying, someone who is not in seek of sympathy. Read carefully... this poem means a lot to me, and it is dedicated to my Girlfriend Becca (AKA Kitty) Consider this a reminder of our mortalities.

CONDEMNED By Jeff Missen.

The countdown is started, Condemned am I
Slowly and steadily, doomed to die.
Nothing to do but watch myself cry.
No where to turn so I eternally lie

One day I will no longer seem to be
As I have met with my eternity
and I know you have no sympathy
for you are condemned just like me.

*CRIES* Kit, you make me so sad! Your quote is even sad...

*wingshrug* It doesn't seem sad to me, just pragmatic and realistic. Nobody gets out of this alive.

Nice one, Kit.
