It's down for me, and I was wondering if something was screwed up, or if it was a DNS problem.

It is down for me too and been down since about 6pm yesterday, I think.

The link you provided brings up a Admin or User login screen.

Down for me :(

The offer to host the site for the XMEN is still available.

Sorry, guys. At some point yesterday, Sunday, 10/16, around noon Central, it went *POOF*. The XMEN and several other neighboring IPs were suddenly 401. The site exists now, but it's a bare skeleton and all the content is gone. Looks like a hard drive (array?) went south.

I've put up a page for now describing the problem, and I've emailed support. I do have a backup of the website, but not the forum database. It always said I had to have an FTP server to back it up to. :(

I appreciate the offer, Gryph, and might take you up on it if we're really hosed here.

Update:
Sounds like we'll be OK. Got a note back with instructions from tech support. They'll restore the database if I tell 'em the name (done). I'm not sure how current it'll be.

Apparently they had a complete OS meltdown: Unfortunately our old server software was damaged enough so we had to replace it with the new RedHat Enterprise, and much newer version of Ensim panel. Unfortunately our restore files were also damaged so we were unable to automatically restore all sites content.
...but they have the content itself. I've just finished uploading all the site info, so as soon as the database is back the forums will be good again!
