Unlike other servers that go on for a week and then are down for several hours or even forever due to MySQL hacks, L2 Hajime is secure. The staff here sees to it that your account information is SAFE. No need to worry about leveling a character and then having a wipe!
L2 Hajime is indeed open 24/7 with NO downtime whatsoever! There is not a single minute in which L2 Hajime is down. Ever! Upgrades are only done in advance and at the crack of dawn. They are only applied during major updates!
Connecting to the server is easy! You can simply download the patch program which will do everything automatically:

Inside the zip file is a self extracting install shield. It will install Custom Game Loader on your computer. Once you run the program, it will patch your L2 client to connect to L2 Hajime with a single click.

Can't connect?????
If you can't connect, that means you are probably running an old Lineage II: Chronicles III client. NCsoft has changed the Login encryption. The server has been updated to support that new encryption; but the server isn't backwards compatible!! Usually if you download all the updates on CGL, you can connect. However, if that doesn't work then run Lineage II.exe and click check file to return your client to the unpatched and current state. After that, run CGL.
