With gas prices high, US lawmakers have begun looking at expanding Daylight Savings Time as a means to save energy.
Congressional leaders from both parties have signed off on a proposal that will change daylight savings time in the United States as early as this year. All that is left is a signoff by President Bush. If the proposed solution becomes law, DST will be extended two months, from March to November.

I'm not exactly against it, daylight savings time is useless these days; but I'd much rather they just give me my fusion powered hovercar and be done with this fossil fuel business. I don't think El Presidente will sign off on it though, I dunno why. It seems like something beneath presidential consideration...

So I was googling for some hover tank pictures thinkin' I get a righteous shot fo the old XCOM hovertank to throw in here, when I found this:

That was on a site with other current and totally viable military weapons. I ask you...do we really have a functional hovertank? Does Jester get to drive one? Did Asha build it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hmm... That would be the STEALTH hovertank, since the link or pic or whatever is totally invisible. ;)

I don't think they allow direct linking, so try copy and paste into a new browser window.
