Mount St. Helens blew up, even with lava. Ash and steam rose above 30,000 feet and could be seen from Portland, OR.

thats crazy... sometimes having volcanoes blow up is a good thing, too. i'm studying roman society right now, and a great deal of what we have to learn from is finds in Pompeii and Herculaneum... meals that were being prepared at the time of the eruption are still on tables, carbonized from the ash (and time), it's really fascinating being able to see this daily life snapshot taken right out of 2c bce Campania.
speaking of planes, i'm gonna be moving soon, probably to the ethereal one. i heard they give a good rate on condos there. woot!

Take me with you :P (If you're going to Toronto, that is)
I'd say it would be far better to go to Valhalla or Elysium, but that's just me :)

Hehe, this weekend we had a Meteorite spotted from California to Vancouver BC, then 10 minutes later there was a 3.0 earthquake near Seattle, then a few minutes later the power went out in a Seattle neighborhood all unrelated.
It's the start of the end of the world.

Don't forget, this follows the floods of a few weeks ago, and the fires of last summer, and the war... oh, wait, that one hasn't happened yet.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's right! You're all too late! This kingdom shall fall, and from the ashes I shall forge a new order, of Klingons!

well, if Enterprise gets canceled, you might be able to buy a fat lot of klingon uniforms and headdresses at the Paramount garage sale.
hmm... Elysium sounds nice! sorry Laur, not to TO. most likely victoria, and then to nova scotia. And thank the gods for that! i'm setting things in motion to get out of here. but i -might- be living in Miss with Drea, depending on if i go to UT or UTM. If i go to UTM, i'm staying here. only 2 more years and i can kiss this burg goodbye.
...but that would mean that in two years we'd only have RO. No more Dune night! :(

The govonor of washing declared a drought emergency because we got no rain and no snow pack this winter. I bet we have some big fires this summer.
