Car from hell

I'm now afraid to drive my van... It almost killed me again last night >< As I was driving on the QEW in the blowing snow, some douche decided to cut me off going much slower than I was... only problem was that my brakes decided to cease functioning at that exact moment. I hit him, but he drove off and didn't see if I was alright :(
This isn't the first time I've had a really scary experience in this vehicle, with the alternator dying on me while driving home from my birthday dinner. That was more scary tho, 'cause all the dash lights were flickering like they were haunted, and I had no spedometer/gas/head lights... in the dark... in a dark green van.... yah, scary.

i know this thread is 2 weeks old, but i'm glad to hear you're okay! it's been hell for highway driving lately going back n forth to mac... i ended up staying at my gf's apartment monday night because of the weather (and that my car needs new winter tires).
if you guys are at all considering getting a new van, let me know, i can refer you to a friend of the family who deals in used cars (we've bought.... 8 from him in the past 20y? in fact all of my cars came from him, and he'll give you a fair price. holy crap, an honest used car salesman.)
