I can do most beers. I do like a pint of Guinness every so often. But I can also make do with vodka or rum. :D

Umm, some Beers are absolutely wonderful (and Guinness, Asha? Talk about a meal in a glass!)
Unfortunately, American beers pale in comparison to that of any of the other countries in the world. There are some bad Canadian beers (50, Molson Dry, Labatt's Blue) but there are good ones as well (Keith's, Creemore Springs, Rickard's)

Beers from anywhere outside of Washington state seem to taste like piss. The exceptions are few. Everyone is a fan of corona... it tastes like a bunch of drunk guys pissed in a barrel and let that ferment. Blech.

I used to think the same thing until I got plastered one night in college (was 20 at the time), and ended up having a blast with all the people on my floor in the dorms and some ladies that we invited down from the first and third floors.

It's still fun to watch drunk people do stupid things though. ;)

Stock up on several bottles of vodka. Or even the 1.5 Liter ones you can get at Costco.
